Society Room Guide Lines
Lockers are provided for the secure storage of personal articles.
A range of other facilities are also provided for the comfort and convenience of researchers.

The following items may be taken into the Research Room:
  • Lead pencils
  • Pad of paper
  • Money and small change for photocopying from microfilm
  • Spectacles and spectacle cases
  • Camera (please ensure flash is disabled)
  • Mobile phones
    (for camera use, where flash can be disabled; phone must be set to silent)
  • Laptop computer - or iPad - without the bag
  • USB Memory Stick


Items that may not be taken into the Research Room:
  • Wallets, purses, handbags
  • Ink pens of any description
  • Food or drink of any kind - there is a small frig available

What does it cost?
As a member there is a small fee of $2 each time you come to the rooms.

Day Research is available for non member at a cost of $10.00 this cost is deducted from your joining fee if you join on the same day.
