FamilySearch Films/Fiche

Gold Coast Family History Society is a designated FamilySearch Affiliate Library for viewing microfilm/fiche from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS)

​FamilySearch films are now online and as a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, some films previously available only by ordering, are now available for members only to view online in our rooms.
 
When using the FamilySearch films it is recommended that the Snip Tool be used to copy an image.  For copyright reasons, FamilySearch will allow limited downloads only per access.  When this limit is reached FamilySearch denies all access to all computers for a period of time.
 
In light of these restrictions, and in fairness to other members in the rooms, please do not download images but use the Snip Tool to print or save to a USB.
 
To allow sufficient time to read FamilySearch films a maximum of 2 hours per computer can now be booked if required.
