· Wednesday September 3, 2008— Social Research Night hosted by Librarian Heather Wort. Do some research work or help Heather with library work and enjoy some social chit chat. To find out more phone Heather on 5531 3966 or email her at hrwort@bigpond.com. These nights are held the first Wednesday of the month except December and January.

· Next Date TBA— Evening Beginners’ Classes are carried out by Fay Carbis. They start at 7pm. Members are free and non members pay $8 which is deducted from subscription if joining on the night. Phone Fay on 5539 4888 or email her at sec@goldcoastfhs.org.au.

· Friday December 5, 2008- Family Tree Maker Special Interest Group. This is a popular PC program and used by so many of our members. If you are a new member or just need to brush up consider going to one of these classes.
