· Next Date TBA - Beyond the Basics of Family History Research - Fleshing Out Your Family Tree conducted by Pam Oldham and Karen Hartley. Commences at 9am and runs for about 3 hours. · Friday May 24, 2013- A Guide to Family History Research - An Introduction to Family History Class conducted by Pam Oldham and Karen Hartley. Commences at 9am and runs for about 2 hours. If you are a new member or just need to brush up consider going to one of these classes. Cost: Members free, Non members $10 (refundable if joining Society).

· Discontinued- Family Tree Maker Special Interest Group. This is a popular PC program and used by so many of our members. The group meetings have been discontinued however Gay Eunson would be happy to still give advice. You can reach her on 5597 5365 or email at eunson5253@optusnet.com.au.

· Sunday June 2, 2013- Legacy Family Tree User Group. This Legacy software self-help group is convened by Carol Browne and meets every two months on the first Sunday of the month. Cost is just $1 to cover afternoon tea and the group meets from 1.00pm to 3.30pm. For further information email Carol at cbrowne@onthenet.com.au.

· Monday May 20, 2013— Irish Group. Convened by Julian Van der Veer who is passionate about Irish research. This group meets every 3 months from 9am to 12 Noon. Cost to members is $1. You can contact Julian at genfindit@gmail.com .
