The National Archives of Australia holds a rich photographic collection documenting the migrant experience - from the often long and tiring journey to Australian shores, to settling into life in their adopted communities.

This seminar will chart the migrant story through images of life in migrant accommodations camps, migrant contributions to the workforce and participation in cultural life in Australia.
